Hydraulic oil can become contaminated with the same bacteria, water and algae in addition to metallic shavings from the breakdown of pumps and hydraulic parts and fittings. Instead of wasting the oil we can recover it with our filtration process right on site in most cases for a fraction of the cost of replacement. Most exotic oils used in hydraulics are very expensive. $700 a drum is not uncommon and in order to save money it may be wise to recover the oil for use in other areas or with a purity test in the original hydraulic equipment.
